East Midlands Airport (IATA code EMA) is located in the East Midlands of England, at Castle Donington in the District of North West Leicestershire. The airport is between the cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.
In 2004, East Midlands Airport was rebranded as Nottingham East Midlands Airport, despite lying in Leicestershire and the nearest city being Derby. Furthermore, there was already a small airfield called Nottingham Airport.
